Inaugural Class Announced March 29
Voting is now open for the inaugural class of the Vermont Motorsports Hall of Fame, to be announced on Saturday, March 29 as part of the Vermont Motorsports Expo at the Conn. Valley Auto Auction in White River Junction. VMHoF voting committee members have until March 10 to cast their ballots, with the top-eight vote getters earning induction to the Hall.
“After more than a year of planning, discussion and preparation, it’s exciting to finally reach this point,” said VMHoF President Justin St. Louis. “Our membership has worked extremely hard to set guidelines for this inaugural class, as we begin the process of honoring competitors, track owners, promoters, and others who have played leading roles in the sport here in the Green Mountains.”
The Vermont Motorsports Hall of Fame was established to preserve the history of automotive sports and motorized competition in the Green Mountain State; honoring those who have been essential to the success, longevity and enjoyment of the sport while raising awareness, educating the public, and promoting the growth and future prosperity of motorsports in the state.
Sponsorships and advertising opportunities are available for the Vermont Motorsports Hall of Fame, which is a registered nonprofit corporation. Individual supporting memberships to the Hall will be on sale at the Expo, along with limited edition apparel and first-run merchandise.
“Vermont's official racing kickoff party;” the Vermont Motorsports Expo runs Friday and Saturday, March 28/29, with displays by many of the region’s top tracks and sanctioning bodies, along with a first look at 2025 race cars fielded by top Green Mountain State competitors.
